The Challenge
Waipapa Marae had a pressing need - increase COVID-19 vaccination rates in their community. After years of close collaboration, they turned to Duo Design for help.
Our Approach
We worked hand-in-hand with Nga Marae o Kawhia Moana to deeply understand the barriers and design an impactful campaign. Drawing inspiration from the lived experiences of polio survivors, we crafted a compelling creative strategy that would speak directly to people's hearts.
The Solution
Duo Design launched a bold nationwide campaign, touching Kiwis across channels. Impactful street posters, illuminated billboards, bus ads, and print and radio ads carried an emotional message. The integrated campaign strategy enabled us to reach people in their communities and in their homes.
The Impact
By leveraging genuine storytelling and a multi-channel approach, Duo Design helped Waipapa Marae boost COVID-19 vaccination rates. This health campaign increased awareness and drove action through empathy.
